Sun Bicycles is proud to be a member of the first industry-wide e-bike battery recycling program administered by Call2Recycle—the largest and most reliable battery recycling program in the U.S. PeopleForBikes, a national bicycling advocacy organization, and the bicycle industry's trade association, endorses this initiative, which ensures batteries are safely and responsibly managed at their end-of-life. Sun Bicycles, along with 50+ bike brands voluntarily support this nationwide effort.

How It Works
Call2Recycle partners with trusted recycling organizations throughout the country to recover materials from old e-bike batteries and use them to manufacture new products in a safe and environmentally friendly way.
Cost
Sun Bicycles partners with Call2Recycle to cover the $15 recycling cost for every E-Bike and aftermarket E-Battery we sell. When it’s time to recycle your battery, there is no charge. Simply drop off the battery at your local participating retailer, and Call2Recycle will take care of the rest! !
When to Recycle Your Battery
After a few years of use, if your battery struggles to hold a charge, has a reduced range, or requires frequent charging, simply return it to your local participating retailer. Call2Recycle will handle the rest!
